The Role
Your role will be to sell tyres and other related products into retail, manufacturers and wholesalers. Working in a field based role, you will be responsible for the development of accounts, obtaining new business and liasing with other departments to arrange deliveries of products etc. Based in the mid eastern part of England, you will travel to destinations within the area you will be geographically aware and able to plan journeys to maximise opportunities. You will also be responsible for developing relationships, with colleagues and clients, working closely with both to meet delivery targets and sales targets.
The Person To be considered for this role candidates will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in selling tyres or automotive products to the retail, manufacturing and wholesale sectors. You will be driven, self-motivated with good time management skills. Strong planning and good forward thinking are essential for success in this role.
In addition candidates should have:- - Excellent communications skills - Strong relationship building skills - PC literate, in order to produce monthly sales reports, etc This role is seen as a key position within the company and candidates should be well presented with natural business development flair.
